Collection: Camille Roqueplan

Camille Joseph Etienne Roqueplan (1803–1855) was a French painter and lithographer. Born in Mallemort, Bouches-du-Rhône, he later died in Paris. Roqueplan received his artistic training as a pupil of Antoine-Jean Gros and Abel de Pujol, establishing himself within the Romantic movement.

Roqueplan's artistic output included a range of subjects, notably landscapes, genre scenes, and historical compositions. He also practiced as a lithographer, contributing to his diverse body of work.
