Collection: Carl Friedrich Seiffert
Carl Friedrich Seiffert (1809–1891) was a German painter. He worked primarily as a landscape artist, often depicting architectural subjects and historical sites. His oeuvre includes views such as Interior of an old Ducal Palace, Venice (1851) and The Interior of the Palm House on the Pfaueninsel Near Potsdam (1834).
Seiffert's landscapes encompassed a range of subjects, from detailed architectural interiors to expansive vistas. His works include depictions of significant locations like Jerusalem and Bethlehem, alongside more intimate scenes such as Statue of the Madonna in the Mountains. He also created genre scenes, as seen in An Italian peasant boy.
