Charles Édouard de Beaumont

Charles-Édouard de Beaumont (1821–1888), also known as Édouard de Beaumont, was a French artist active as a painter, watercolourist, draughtsman, illustrator, and lithographer. Born in Lannion, he later died in Paris on January 12, 1888.

Beaumont's artistic practice encompassed religious subjects, genre scenes, and landscapes. He executed works across various media, including painting, watercolour, drawing, and lithography. Examples of his genre work include "The Flirt" (late 19th century) and "Fariboles" (1849-50).
