Collection: Charles Frederic Ulrich

Charles Frederic Ulrich (1858–1908) was an American Realist painter born in New York. He received his training under Löfftz and Lindenschmit, subsequently spending the majority of his career in Germany. Ulrich undertook study visits to Venice from 1889 to 1890 and to Rome from 1899 to 1902. He also resided in the Netherlands during 1884.

Ulrich's artistic output primarily consisted of genre scenes depicting working-class people. His body of work also included portraits.
