Charles Pears (1873 –1958) was a British painter, illustrator, caricaturist, and writer, born in Pontefract. His career encompassed various artistic roles, contributing to both fine art and commercial illustration.

Pears specialized in maritime depictions and poster art. He served as an official war artist during both World War I and World War II. His work was included in the art competitions at the 1928 and 1932 Summer Olympics. He produced numerous posters, including "Barking Reach By Underground" (1921) and "Hastings And St Leonards, Britain's Best Tonic" (ca.1931).
