Collection: Edmund Bartłomiejczyk

Edmund Bartłomiejczyk (1885–1950) was a Polish graphic artist, painter, and wood sculptor. Born in Warsaw on November 5, 1885, he also held a position as an academic art teacher. His work, created primarily in the early to mid-20th century, established him as a representative of contemporary Polish fine art. He died in his native city on September 2, 1950.

Bartłomiejczyk's graphic output included works such as Dzien Spoldzice-Czesci 14/6/1931 (1931) and Polski Bialy Krzyz (circa 1930). He also produced paintings, exemplified by Storm (1933). His artistic endeavors extended to wood sculpture. In 1932, he participated in the painting event at the Summer Olympics.
