Edward Atkinson Hornel (1864–1933) was a Scottish painter. He is identified with Post-Impressionism and was an important representative of the Glasgow Boys, an artist group active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His contemporaries within the group referred to him as Ned Hornel.

Hornel's artistic output centered on landscapes, flowers, and foliage, often featuring children. He also depicted female figures situated within vibrant, colorful landscapes. His approach to these subjects contributed to his association with Post-Impressionism, emphasizing color and light in his compositions.
