Collection: Edward Okun

Edward Okuń (1872–1945) was a Polish painter, illustrator, and engraver, working primarily in the Art Nouveau style. Born in Warsaw, he later lived in Rome for an extended period before his death in Skierniewice. Okuń was also a freemason and a member of the Young Poland movement.

Okuń's artistic output included landscapes and portraits. He also worked extensively as an illustrator, designing covers and contributing to various magazines, among them the German publication Jugend. His early career was marked by his engagement with the Art Nouveau aesthetic.
