Collection: Ennemond Alexandre Petitot

Ennemond Alexandre Petitot (1727–1801) was a French architect and engraver. Born in Lyon, he became primarily active in the Duchy of Parma, where he worked in the Neoclassical style. Petitot's projects aimed to update the Duchy's architectural landscape in line with the prevailing Neoclassical aesthetic of France.

As an engraver, Petitot frequently explored Neoclassical themes, often through series depicting figures and decorative elements. His *Mascarade à la Grecque* (1771) presented various figures in the Greek style, while the *Suite of Vases* (1764) showcased classical design motifs, reflecting his engagement with antique forms.
