Collection: Erich Wolfsfeld

Erich Wolfsfeld (1884-1956) was a German-English painter and graphic artist. He also held a professorship in etching. Wolfsfeld emigrated from Nazi Germany.

As a painter and graphic artist, Wolfsfeld produced etchings and other works. His subjects included portraits, exemplified by his 1932 "Self-Portrait," and nudes such as "Seated Female Nude" (1914). He also depicted genre scenes, as seen in "Snake Dance, Marrakesh" (ca. 1925-35).
