Collection: Eugen Jettel

Richard Alfred Eugen Jettel (1845–1901) was an Austrian landscape painter and etcher. He trained at the Vienna Academy and later lived in Paris from 1873 to 1897. Upon his return to Vienna, he became a co-founder of the Vienna Secession.

Jettel's artistic output consisted primarily of landscapes, and he also worked as an etcher.

In 1898, Jettel was made a Knight of the Légion d'honneur. He died in Veli Lošinj in 1901.
