Collection: Eugène Thirion

Eugène-Romain Thirion, a French painter, was born in Paris on May 19, 1839, and died in the same city on January 18, 1910. Throughout his career in the late 19th century, Thirion produced various works. His oeuvre included genre scenes, exemplified by 'Le coiffeur' (1893) and 'L'Escarmouche' (1893), which depict aspects of contemporary life, alongside figure studies such as 'Lady in Red'.
