Francisco Pradilla y Ortiz (1848–1921) was a Spanish painter and draftsman, born in Villanueva de Gállego near Saragossa. He specialized in historical scenes, working within a realist tradition. Pradilla y Ortiz also painted genre, portrait, and landscape subjects.
Working in a realist style, Pradilla y Ortiz produced numerous historical scenes. He also engaged with genre, portraiture, and landscape painting. His administrative roles included director of the Real Academia de España in Rome and director of the Museo del Prado from 1896 to 1898.
