Ivan Vasilievich Kliun (born Klyunkov) was a Russian Avant-Garde painter, sculptor, and art theorist. Born on September 1, 1873, in Bolshiye Gorky, Petushinsky District, he died on December 13, 1943, in Moscow. Kliun was associated with the Suprematist and Constructivist movements, contributing to the development of Russian modernism.

Kliun's artistic output spanned painting, sculpture, and graphic design, complemented by his theoretical writings on art. His work consistently engaged with the formal innovations of the Russian Avant-Garde, particularly reflecting the geometric abstraction and non-objective principles characteristic of Suprematism and Constructivism.
