Collection: Józef Rapacki

Józef Rapacki (1871–1929) was a Polish painter, watercolorist, and graphic designer. He produced landscapes, often depicting Mazovia. His graphic output includes works such as Quatorze Eaux-Fortes (1906) and Fircky w Zalotach (1973). He also created drawings, as seen in Old Woman Warming her Hands (1883).

Rapacki's painting practice centered on landscapes, particularly those of Mazovia, which he rendered with a sentimental quality. His works often depicted everyday scenes, such as Mother and Child on a Seashore (c. 1890), and studies of figures like Seated Old Man (c. 1895).
