Johan Julius Ferdinand Kronberg (1850–1921) was a Swedish artist and decorative painter. He trained at the Kunstakademie in Stockholm during the 1860s. His early studies included travel through Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, and Paris, before he specialized in decorative art in Munich.
Kronberg further pursued mural painting in Rome. He executed monumental pictures and decorative schemes for numerous buildings, including the Royal Palace, Hallwyl Palace, and Adolf Fredrik Church in Stockholm. His oeuvre frequently encompassed history paintings.
Kronberg served as a professor at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts from 1895 to 1898. His works are exhibited in the Swedish National Museum, reflecting his contributions to Swedish art.
