Collection: Kazimierz Stabrowski

Kazimierz Stabrowski (1869–1929) was a Polish painter. Born in Kruplyany, he later became the first director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, serving from 1904 to 1909. His work aligns with Symbolism and the Secession movement.

Stabrowski's artistic output reflects the thematic concerns of Symbolism. He also founded the first lodges of the Theosophical Society in Poland, indicating an engagement with spiritual and esoteric ideas that often informed Symbolist art.
