Plinio Codognato (1878–1940) was an Italian publicist and illustrator. Born in Verona, Veneto, he later died in Milan. His career centered on commercial art, where he functioned as both a publicist and an artist, contributing to the visual culture of his time.

Codognato's artistic output included commercial illustrations and poster designs. Examples of his work include the poster for "Fiat 509" from 1925 and the "St. Moritz" poster, created around 1920. These pieces demonstrate his engagement with advertising and visual communication.
