Collection: Uroš Predić

Uroš Predić (1857–1953) was a Serbian Realist painter. He is considered, alongside Paja Jovanović and Đorđe Krstić, a significant figure in Serbian Realism.

Predić's early works depicted the daily lives of ordinary people. He frequently addressed Serbian medieval history, notably in his monumental historical painting Kosovska devojka (1919). Predić also produced numerous portraits, exemplified by his Self-Portrait (1878), and contributed significantly to church painting.

Predić's extensive opus comprises 1658 documented works.
