Collection: Francesco d'Ubertino

Francesco d'Ubertino Verdi, known as Bachiacca (1494–1557), was an Italian painter of the Florentine school. Trained by Perugino, his oeuvre is characteristic of the Florentine Mannerist style, a development within the High Renaissance.

Bachiacca's artistic approach incorporated influences from his master, Perugino. He also drew from the styles of Albrecht Dürer, Piero di Cosimo, and Andrea del Sarto, integrating these into his distinct Florentine Mannerist idiom.
